Born and raised in Edmonton, Laura has built her life around faith, family, and community. A proud graduate of Edmonton Catholic Schools and a member of the Catholic Parish of Corpus Christi, Laura values the role Catholic education plays in shaping both the mind and the heart. She and her husband have raised their four children in Edmonton and enjoy exploring local events and tending to their backyard garden. These simple joys keep her grounded and connected to the communities of Karhiio and Sspomitapi, including those served by St. Theresa Catholic Parish and The Catholic Parish of Corpus Christi, which she is honoured to represent.

In addition to her work as Trustee, Laura is the owner and operator of a local repair and maintenance company. Her business experience has strengthened her understanding of leadership, accountability, and teamwork, which she brings to her role on the Board. Laura takes pride in being a Trustee who listens, collaborates, and works to ensure decisions always reflect what is best for students, staff, and families.

Laura’s Catholic faith guides every aspect of her service. She believes that publicly funded Catholic education provides an essential foundation for helping young people grow not only in knowledge but also in compassion, integrity, and faith. Her work as Trustee for Ward 77 is rooted in gratitude and a deep sense of purpose to support schools that nurture academic excellence, spiritual growth, and a strong sense of belonging. Laura is grateful for the opportunity to serve her community and remains committed to fostering a faith-filled learning environment where every student can thrive.
