Location

We are a "focus school". Our focus is Fine Arts! We are located in southwest. We serve the communities of Aspen Gardens, Greenfield, Royal Gardens, Malmo Plains, Lendrum Place, Lansdowne, Grand View Heights and open to all parents wanting a fine arts elementary school.

Our Mission

Within the Context of a Fine Arts Focus Catholic Elementary School:

  • We provide our students with a safe, healthy and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
  • We promote growth and learning in a Catholic based Christian community.
  • We prepare our students to be faith filled caring members of an ever-changing society.
  • Stir them to Wonder! Our central philosophical umbrella of critical or creative thinking wraps higher order thinking skills around academic disciplines, which include art, dance, drama, language, math, music, physical education, science, social studies and other learnings.
  • Programs

    The Elementary Fine Arts Program provides all the required courses mandated by Alberta Education in a nurturing Catholic environment. All students are included in specialized arts classes. Inclusive arts/gifted and talented program/ focus on instructional technology, LTTA school/student leadership/Inclusive special education/Differentiated instruction/Enrichment for all students/Multiple Intelligences & higher level thinking skills/School wide celebrations/ Monthly student assembly/Balanced Literacy/ French as a Second Language (Grades 4-6) ESL/Daily Physical Activity with locally developed dance curriculum.
