Information and Infrastructure Technology Services (IITS) is made up of three distinct yet unified groups which undertake individual but integrated initiatives resulting in an encompassing technology service program for Edmonton Catholic Schools. These teams actualize district initiatives in their areas of expertise. These teams link extensively with Emerging Educational Technology in Learning Services – Innovation.

The distinct groups within IITS are:

Administrative Services – providing application development and support services. Current supported applications are: eLuminate, PowerSchool, Sasi and Edulink.
Infrastructure Services – provides design and support services for the district technology infrastructure which includes: internet, intranet, wireless, datacenter servers, desktops, mobile devices and security services.
Site Technical Support Services - providing technical support services to schools to directly support the technology in the schools this would include desktop applications, instructional and administrative computers, school local area networks, school wireless.

IITS is dedicated to providing a safe and caring technical environment for all students and staff of Edmonton Catholic Schools. We are committed to keeping abreast of new technologies and to exploring new methodologies to increase access to online learning resources and expanded options for collaboration and professional development.
